Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft
EAST NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Loren Roberts birdied three of the last four holes Sunday to win the Champions Tour's ACE Group Classic at East Naples, Fla., his ninth win on the senior tour.
A 3-foot putt on the final hole clinched the win for Roberts, who closed with a 4-under-par 68 for a total of 7-under 209, a stroke ahead of Gene Jones.
Jones shot three straight 70s in the 54-hole tournament.
"I hit some really good shots the last five or six holes coming down the stretch and that was the key," Roberts said.
Ben Crenshaw (69), Bernhard Langer (69), James Mason (70) and Don Pooley (70) tied for third place at 5-under 211.
