NHL: Toronto 3, New York Rangers 2 (OT)

NEW YORK, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Pavel Kubina's goal in overtime Sunday gave the Toronto Maple Leafs a 3-2 win over the New York Rangers.

Kubina, who also had two assists, scored on a power play 3 minutes into the extra session.

The Leafs also got goals from Ian White and John Mitchell and three assists by Lee Stempniak.

New York's Michal Rozsival had tied the contest with 40 seconds left in regulation and Scott Gomez also scored for the Rangers, who have just two wins in their last 12 games.

Toronto goalie Vesa Toskala blocked 39 shots. Henrik Lundqvist had 23 saves for the Rangers.
