
DALLAS, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Josh Howard scored a team-high 20 points Saturday night to lead the Dallas Mavericks in an easy 116-95 victory against the Sacramento Kings.
Following a 30-20 first quarter, Dallas built its advantage to 70-50 by halftime and held a double-digit lead the entire second half.
Reserve James Singleton had 19 points and 12 rebounds. Dirk Nowitzki scored 12 with five rebounds in a rare off-night.
Jason Kidd scored 11 with 11 assists, while Antoine Wright added 10 points, three rebounds and four steals for the Mavericks, who rebounded from a 93-86 loss at Houston Friday night.
Beno Udrih led Sacramento with 18 points and seven assists. Both Spencer Hawes and Francisco Garcia scored 17 points.
Andres Nocioni, acquired in a trade with Chicago this week, scored 10 with seven rebounds and three assists, and Hawes added nine rebounds for the Kings, losers in seven of their last eight outings.
