COL BKB: Illinois 70, Ohio State 68

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Mike Davis scored 22 points with eight rebounds, leading 16th-ranked Illinois to a 70-68 Big Ten Conference win over Ohio State.

Coach Bruce Weber recorded his 150th win at Illinois.

Davis, who scored only four points in a dismal 38-33 loss to Penn State last Wednesday, sank 11-of-14 shots from the floor to lead Illinois' 58.3 shooting percentage.

Trent Meacham scored 17 with six assists, while Demetri McCamey scored 15 points with seven assists for the Fighting Illini (22-6, 10-5), who have won four of their last five games.

They swept the season series after their 67-49 win Jan. 20 at Champaign.

Evan Turner led OSU with 17 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

Jon Diebler also scored 17 points, and William Buford scored 14 with four rebounds and three assists for the Buckeyes (17-8, 7-7), who have lost three in a row for the first time this season.
