ATLANTA, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Trevor Booker's 21 points and 12 rebounds Sunday helped 13th-ranked Clemson escape with an 81-73 ACC win over Georgia Tech.
The contest was tied 33-33 at halftime after Tech had built an early 25-10 advantage.
A 3-pointer by Andre Young gave Clemson a 69-59 lead with 6:32 left, and the winners were home free from that point.
K.C. Rivers had 19 points with five rebounds. Young scored 12 off the bench. Demontez Stitt scored nine with seven assists, and David Potter also scored nine points for the Tigers (22-4, 8-4), who have won three of their last four games.
They swept the season series after a 73-59 victory at home on Jan. 25.
Lewis Clinch led Georgia Tech with 27 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Gani Lawal had 11 points with nine rebounds, while Maurice Miller added 11 points and five assists for Yellow Jackets (10-16, 1-12), whose losing streak grew to six games in a row.
