UNIONDALE, N.Y., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Yann Danis turned away 40 shots Saturday on the way to his second NHL career shutout, helping the New York Islanders record a 4-0 win over New Jersey.

The only goal Danis needed was Sean Bergenheim's eighth of the season at 3:50 of the first period.

Jon Sim, Kyle Okposo and Bill Guerin also scored goals, and both Mark Streit and Frans Nielsen had two assists for the Islanders, who won for just the second time in their last nine games.

Streit increased his team-high point total to 42 (11 goals, 31 assists), while Guerin scored his team-leading 16th goal.

Scott Clemmensen was beaten four times for the Devils, who had won 14 of their previous 17 contests.
