PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Brandon Roy scored 27 points Friday night and the Portland Trail Blazers dominated the second half to defeat Atlanta 108-98.
The Trail Blazers led by as many as 17 in the fourth quarter while improving their home record this season to 22-5. Only Cleveland, Boston and the Los Angeles Lakers have fewer home losses than Portland.
Portland led by only three at halftime, but steadily pulled away during the final two quarters to leave the Hawks with a 2-2 mark on their six-game road trip.
LaMarcus Aldridge added 24 points and Rudy Fernandez had 19 for the Trail Blazers.
Mike Bibby led Atlanta with 27 and Joe Johnson had 21.
Portland played without center Greg Oden for a second straight game. Oden suffered a bone chip in his left knee last week and is listed as day-to-day.
