COL BKB: Washington 60, Southern Cal 51

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Quincy Pondexter scored eight of his 22 points late in the second half Saturday to help No. 19 Washington post a 60-51 win over Southern California.

Jon Brockman had 14 rebounds for Washington (20-7, 11-4 Pac-10), which leads the conference standings. Arizona State (9-4) plays Sunday, while California (9-5) and UCLA (9-5) both lost Saturday.

Dwight Lewis and Daniel Hackett each scored 11 points for USC (16-10, 7-7), which has lost four of its last five games. Taj Gibson added in 10 points for USC, which held a four-point lead with less than 6 minutes to play.
