DALLAS, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Fabian Brunnstrom delivered the game-winning goal early in the second period Thursday night, lifting the Dallas Stars to a 4-2 decision over Edmonton.

The Stars successfully opened a six-game homestand by winning for the seventh time in 10 contests.

Marty Turco made 21 saves and Dallas also got goals from Jere Lehtinen, Krystofer Barch and Raymond Sawada.

The Stars let an early two-goal lead get away, but Brunnstrom scored on the power-play 3:08 into the second period to put Dallas back in front.

Brunnstrom's goal came while Ethan Moreau was serving a double-minor for tripping and roughing.

Lehtinen tipped in a shot by Mike Ribeiro 8:17 into the third to give Dallas a two-goal advantage.

Liam Reddox and Shawn Horcoff scored goals and Dwyane Roloson yielded four goals on 25 shots for the Oilers, who lost their second straight game following a three-game winning streak.

There were 87 minutes worth of penalties called, 57 of them in the third period. There were four 10-minute misconduct penalties assessed -- three against Edmonton.
