MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Marquis Daniels scored 24 points in helping Indiana build an 18-point lead in the fourth quarter Friday night and the Pacers held on to beat Minnesota 112-105.

Indiana won a road game for the first time in 11 tries.

Daniels made 11-of-18 shots from the field while Jarret Jack chipped in 18 points and Troy Murphy had 16.

Indiana played without leading scorer Danny Granger, who suffered a foot injury in Wednesday's loss to Charlotte and will be out for up to three weeks. He is averaging 25 points a game.

The Pacers are also without forward Mike Dunleavy, who is out indefinitely with a knee injury.

Indiana won on the road for the first time since Jan. 7. The Pacers are 7-23 on the road this season.

Minnesota was led by a career-high 36 points from Randy Foye.

The Timberwolves have won just twice in their last 11 games and have lost three out of four since leading scorer Al Jefferson was knocked out for the season by a torn knee ligament.
