NBA: Atlanta 105, Sacramento 100

SACRAMENTO, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson put Atlanta in front for good with 42 seconds remaining Wednesday and the Hawks held on to defeat Sacramento 105-100.

Atlanta scored the game's final five points while handing Sacramento its sixth straight loss.

Sacramento's Bobby Jackson hit two free throws with 57 seconds left to tie the game and the Kings failed to score down the stretch.

Johnson's layup made it 102-100 and he hit a free throw with 18 seconds to play for a three-point lead.

Jackson missed two 3-point attempts over the final 13 seconds and Atlanta got one free throw each from Mike Bibby and Marvin Williams to account for the final score.

Bibby led the Hawks with 29 points and Johnson had 20. Kevin Martin scored 32 for the Kings.
