NHL: Vancouver 4, Calgary 3 (SO)

CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Kevin Bieksa sent the game into overtime and Pavol Demitra scored the game-winning shootout goal Tuesday in Vancouver's 4-3 win over Calgary.

Ryan Kesler scored twice for the Canucks, who have won six of their last seven. Roberto Luongo made 38 saves to get the win.

The Flames got goals from Jarome Iginla, Daymond Langkow and Rene Bourque. Calgary goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff had 40 saves.

Despite the loss, Calgary earned at least a point for the fifth consecutive game (3


2) following a four-game losing streak.
