OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Chris Paul had 21 points and the game-winning goal with 2.7 seconds left Tuesday, delivering New Orleans a 100-98 win over Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma's Kevin Durant scored 47 points and hit a 3-pointer to tie the score just before Paul's final goal.

David West led New Orleans with 37 points and 13 rebounds, and hit a long jumper with 57.4 seconds left in the game to give the Hornets a 98-95 lead before Durant tied the score.

Earlier in the day, New Orleans sent center Tyson Chandler to the Thunder in exchange for veteran forward Joe Smith, center Chris Wilcox and the draft rights to center Devon Hardin. None of them played in Tuesday's game.
