PEBBLE BEACH, Calif., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- PGA officials called off Monday's weather-delayed final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, giving Dustin Johnson the tournament victory.

Sunday's round was also lost to weather. Officials delayed the start of Monday's play once but then called off the event when heavy rains drenched greens and rain filled the forecasts.

Johnson shot a 5-under-par 67 on Saturday to take the 54-hole lead. He finished at 15-under 201, four strokes ahead of runner-up Mike Weir. Retief Goosen was third at 10-under and Bob Estes and Mark Calcavecchia tied for fourth at 9-under.

The win was the second for the 24-year-old Johnson. He also won last year's Turning Stone Resort Championship.

Weather Sunday caused six hours of delays before play was suspended and a Monday finish called for. But rain continued, with four greens determined to be unplayable, and more was forecast through the day.

NBA's Suns fire Porter

PHOENIX, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- The Phoenix Suns fired Coach Terry Porter and replaced him with assistant coach Alvin Gentry, the NBA team said Monday.

Porter was in his first season as coach of the Suns, who entered the All-Star break with a 28-23 record. That is ninth place in the Western Conference.

"I hired Terry because I believed he would be able to provide the balance our team needed in order to perform at a very high level," said Suns General Manager Steve Kerr.

"Unfortunately the transition from last season to this one proved to be very difficult, and we have not played to our potential. It's imperative that we move forward and do what's best for our team. Alvin has been an integral part of our successes the previous four years and knows our talent as well as anyone."

Gentry, who joined the Phoenix staff in 2004, has 20 years of NBA coaching experience, including stints as head coach with Miami, Detroit and the Los Angeles Clippers. His overall record is 177-226.

The Suns are the eighth NBA team this season to replace their head coach.

Implants derail model's Olympic dreams

LONDON, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- A model attempting to compete in Olympic boxing cannot take part in competitive bouts due to her breast implants, a boxing group says.

The Amateur Boxing Association of England ruled 25-year-old Sarah Blewden's breast implants represent an increased health risk in regards to competitive boxing matches, The Daily Telegraph said Monday.

"International rules forbid anyone with breast implants continuing to box because of risk of damage to the breast tissue," ABAE Chairman Tony Attwood said.

"The natural breast tissue is pushed forward in front of the implant and it is this that is more at risk."

Blewden has criticized the boxing association's ruling that will significantly hinder her dreams of boxing for Britain in the Olympics.

"My surgeon said they make me no more vulnerable than any other woman," she told the Telegraph of her 32C breasts. "They are not enormous ones -- they are in proportion. They are gel implants and not liquid so they won't burst."

Women's boxing isn't an Olympic sport but an effort is under way to add the event to future Olympic Games.
