CORAL GABLES, Fla., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Ty Lawson's fifth 3-pointer with 10.6 seconds left Sunday secured third-ranked North Carolina's 69-65 ACC victory at Miami-Florida.

North Carolina spurted away from a 29-26 halftime lead by scoring 25 of the second half's first 39 points, but a 3-pointer by high-scoring Jack McClinton drew Miami within 54-48 with 9:16 left.
