LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Reserve Preston Knowles had 19 points and four rebounds Sunday to lead seventh-ranked Louisville in a 99-54 Big East rout of DePaul.

The contest quickly turned one-sided before the home crowd got seated. Louisville opened with a 13-0 run, led 51-21 at the break, and the lead grew to 88-46 on Edgar Sosa's jumper with 5:03 left.

Earl Clark scored 12 with 11 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocked shots. Samardo Samuels also scored 12 points, while Reginald Delk -- playing in place of injured forward Terrence Williams (right wrist) -- added 10 points and three rebounds for the Cardinals (19-5, 10-2), who sank 18-of-36 3-pointers, five by Knowles.

Dar Tucker's 17 points and five rebounds led DePaul. Mac Koshwal scored 12 with 10 rebounds and five assists, while Will Walker added 10 points for the Blue Demons (8-18, 0-13), who suffered their 13th loss in a row, all in conference play.
