
TORONTO, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Jason Blake scored twice in a five-goal third period Saturday when the Toronto Maple Leafs rallied for a 6-2 victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Entering the pivotal period, the Maple Leafs faced a 2-1 deficit after Nik Antropov's 18th goal this season at 12:53 of the second started their comeback. Blake's 20th and 21st goals put Toronto up by 3-2 at 1:14 of the third.
John Mitchell, Alexei Ponikarovsky and Matt Stajan also scored goals. Dominic Moore and Antropov both had two assists, Ponikarovsky one, and Vesa Toskala was credited with 25 saves on 27 shots for the Maple Leafs, who broke a two-game skid.
They won the season series, 3-1-0.
Pittsburgh got goals from Matt Cooke and Bill Thomas in the first period. Marc-Andre Fleury was beaten six times on 41 shots for the Penguins, who have lost two of three.
Pittsburgh defenseman Sergei Gonchar played in just his second game this season after returning from shoulder surgery.
