COL BKB: Syracuse 98, Georgetown 94 (OT)

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Jonny Flynn and Eric Devendorf combined for 14 of the Orange's 15 points in overtime Saturday and No. 22 Syracuse eased past Big East rival Georgetown 98-94.

Flynn sank a jumper and 4-of-4 free throws in the extra stanza. He finished with 25 points and 13 assists. Devendorf buried two 3-pointers and a layup in overtime and wound up with 23 points.

Syracuse blew a 66-50 advantage with 8:10 left in regulation. Flynn had a chance to win it but passed to an open man with 12 seconds left.

Arinze Onuaku scored 15 with 13 rebounds and four blocked shots. Andy Rautins and Rick Jackson added 13 points each for the Orange (19-7, 7-6), who won for just third time in their last nine games.

Chris Wright's 25 points, six assists and five rebounds led Georgetown.

Austin Freeman scored 19 with six assists, while DaJuan Summers added 17 with eight rebounds and four assists for the Hoyas (13-10, 4-8), who lost for the seventh time in their last eight outings.
