COL BKB: Missouri 70, Nebraska 47

COLUMBIA, Mo., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Matt Lawrence and DeMarre Carroll each scored 13 points Saturday to help 19th-ranked Missouri defeat Nebraska 70-47.

J.T. Tiller added 11 points for the Tigers (22-4, 9-2 Big 12), who have won nine of their last 10 games since losing by five points in their Big 12 opener at Nebraska Jan. 10. Leo Lyons had nine points and 10 rebounds.

The Tigers defense, the best in the Big 12, held Nebraska to 28.6 percent shooting from the field to improve to 16-0 on their home floor this season.

Nebraska was led by Brandon Richardson with 12 points. Ade Dagunduro had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Cornhuskers (15-8, 5-5), who ended a three-game winning streak.

The Cornhuskers had 20 turnovers in the game.
