COL BKB: Memphis 72, Southern Miss 47

HATTIESBURG, Miss., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Tyreke Evans scored 19 points Saturday, keying a 72-47 win by 10th-ranked Memphis over Southern Miss.

Antonio Anderson and Robert Dozier each added 12 points for the Tigers (22-3, 10-0 Conference USA).

Memphis has won 16 straight games and holds a 64-1 mark against conference foes since 2005-06. The Tigers are going for their third straight undefeated season in league play.

Southern Miss (13-11, 3-7) was paced by Jeremy Wise, who had 15 points. Courtney Beasley had 12 points for the Golden Eagles, who have lost five straight games.
