NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Zach Parise, with two goals and two assists, had a hand in every New Jersey point Wednesday in a 4-2 victory against the New York Islanders.

He scored goals in the first and third periods, and assisted on goals scored by Jamie Langenbrunner, one on the power play in the second, and one into an empty net at 18:57 of the third.

Parise (34) and Langenbrunner (17) have combined for 51 goals this season.

Netminder Kevin Weekes was credited with 23 saves on 25 shots for the Devils, who have won 11 of their last 13 games to move ahead eight points of idle Philadelphia for first place in the Atlantic Division.

Weekes recorded his fourth straight win.

New York got one goal apiece from Radek Martinek and Kyle Okposo (power play).

Goaltender Joey MacDonald was beaten three times on 49 shots in the Islanders' fourth loss in a row.
