HOUSTON, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Yao Ming delivered 24 points and 18 rebounds Wednesday, leading Houston to a 94-82 whipping of Sacramento.
Houston played without Tracy McGrady, who missed the game after getting an MRI earlier in the day on his sore left knee. The examination did not reveal any new damage, but McGrady plans to have further testing done this week.
Both Ron Artest and Luis Scola scored 19 for Houston, which rolled to an 18-point lead going into the fourth quarter.
Sacramento, losers of five straight and 13 out of 14, got 18 points from Kevin Martin. The Kings go into the All-Star break with just 11 victories, tied with Washington for the fewest in the NBA.
