NBA: Cleveland 109, Phoenix 92

CLEVELAND, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Mo Williams had a career-best performance with 44 points Wednesday, leading Cleveland to a 109-92 victory over Phoenix.

LeBron James chipped in 26 points to help the Cavaliers halt a two-game losing streak.

Cleveland lost for the first time at home this season Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers and then suffered a controversial, one-point setback at Indiana Tuesday when James was called for a questionable foul on Danny Granger with a tenth of a second remaining.

Williams made 18-of-26 shots from the field and handed out seven assists. The Cavaliers had lost their previous four meetings with the Suns.

Cleveland owned a 16-point lead going into the final quarter and will take a 40-11 record into the All-Star break.

Amare Stoudemire, the subject of persistent trade rumors, scored 27 points for Phoenix. The Suns played without point guard Steve Nash, who sat out with injuries to his back and shoulder along with a sore hamstring.
