
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Ryan Kesler had two goals and an assist and Alexander Edler had a goal and three assists Saturday night to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 7-3 route of Chicago.
Mats Sundin had a goal and two assists, Daniel Sedin had a goal and an assist and Steve Bernier and Henrik Sedin each scored a goal for Vancouver which won its second straight game after dropping eight in a row. Roberto Luongo finished with 36 saves.
Kris Versteeg, Adam Burish and Martin Havlat scored for the Blackhawks, who lost for the just the first time in four games.
Cristobal Huet was pulled after the first period, when he let in three goals on nine shots. Nikolai Khabibulin went 13-of-17 in goal in relief of Huet.
Henrik Sedin opened the scoring with a goal at the 53-second mark of the first period, running his scoring streak to six consecutive games. Sundin scored (power play) at 3:02 of the first and Kesler made it 3-0 with a power-play goal at 13:50.
Bernier scored 2:08 into the second and Daniel Sedin put the Canucks up 5-0 at 5:41 with another Vancouver power-play goal.
