Tommie Harris' wife dies

DALLAS, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Dallas jumped ahead with first-period goals by Brian Sutherby and Mark Parrish Sunday and the Stars went on to down the Nashville Predators 4-1.
Brad Richards had a goal and assist and Steve Ott scored an empty-netter for the Stars, who ended a four-game Nashville win streak with their seventh victory in eight games.
Jason Arnott got the Predators' goal.
Marty Turco blocked 25 shots for Dallas and Nashville's Dan Ellis blocked 18 shots.
