COL BKB: Wake Forest 93, Boston College 76

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Jeff Teague and Al-Farouq Iminu combined for 53 points Sunday, leading sixth-ranked Wake Forest to a 93-76 ACC win over Boston College.

Wake Forest demonstrated its superior talent in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 47-29 after trailing 47-46 at halftime.

Teague scored a game-high 27 points with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals. Aminu scored 26 with seven rebounds, and his third 3-pointer this season put the Demon Deacons up by 71-61 with 11:00 left.

James Johnson had 12 points and 10 rebounds, while L.D. Williams added 11 points for the Demon Deacons (18-3, 5-3), who bounced back from an embarrassing 79-52 loss at Miami last Wednesday.

By sinking 6-of-8 shots, Joe Trapani led BC with 19 points.

Tyrese Rice scored 18 with six rebounds and three steals, and Corey Raji added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Eagles (18-7, 6-4), who had their five-game winning streak snapped.
