SACRAMENTO, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Deron Williams put Utah in front with 39 seconds to play Friday night and the Jazz went on to win their third straight game -- 111-107 over Sacramento.
The struggling Kings, coming off an ugly 48-point loss to Phoenix, fought Utah on even terms all night but finally fell for the 10th time in 11 games.
Williams' layup gave Utah a 107-105 lead with 39 seconds to go and after Kevin Martin missed a jumper for Sacramento, Kyle Korver added two free throws for the Jazz with 9 seconds remaining.
Bobby Jackson brought Sacramento within two with 3 seconds to go, but Williams then hit two foul shots with 2 seconds left for the final margin.
Williams led Utah with 34 points, hitting 11-of-19 from the field and 12-of-13 from the line. He almost doubled his season average of 18 points per game.
Martin paced Sacramento with 37.
Sacramento retired the jersey of five-time all-star Chris Webber, who helped the Kings reach the Western Conference finals in 2002.
