
PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Andre Miller and Marreese Speights had 15 points each Saturday night and the Philadelphia 76ers rode a 31-15 third quarter to a 94-84 win over Miami.
The Heat led 69-63 going into the third but Philadelphia took the lead at 76-74 when Lou Williams sank a pair of free throws with 7:31 remaining, and the 76ers never trailed after that.
Miller added five assists and Speights had six rebounds. Thaddeus Young scored 14 points and Andre Iguodala had 12 points and five assists for the 76ers, who have won three games and dropped two in their season-long seven-game homestand.
Dwyane Wade led Miami with 21 points, four rebounds, and seven assists. Mario Chalmers had 18 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Michael Beasley scored 14 points, while Shawn Marion had 11 points and six rebounds for the Heat, who have lost four of their last five games.
