DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Jon Scheyer's 22 points, four rebounds and three assists Saturday helped 3rd-ranked Duke rally for a 78-75 overtime ACC win over Miami.
Duke played the first half like it had not recovered from a 74-47 shellacking at Clemson Wednesday and faced a 32-19 halftime deficit.
Gerald Henderson sank two 3-pointers early in the second half to fuel a Duke rally, while Scheyer's free throw and 3-pointer put Duke in front for good at 46-42 with 12:11 left.
Henderson scored 19, 18 in the second half, with five rebounds and four assists. Greg Paulus scored 18 with five rebounds. Kyle Singler had 17 points and 10 rebounds, while reserve David McClure had just two points, but recorded 13 of 39 rebounds for the Blue Devils (20-3, 7-2).
Jack McClinton led Miami with 34 points. James Dews scored 14, and Brian Asbury added 12 points, 8 rebounds and three assists for the Hurricanes (15-8, 4-6), who have lost four of five.
