NASHVILLE, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Jason Arnott scored and assisted on Martin Erat's game-winning goal Thursday, boosting the Nashville Predators to a 4-2 victory over Anaheim.

The Predators won their third straight, their longest winning streak since early December.

Arnott tipped in a shot 1:08 into the second period to put Nashville in front for good and he was credited with an assist on Erat's wrist shot that gave the Predators a 3-1 lead with 8:38 to play in the stanza.

Anaheim closed within 3-2 at the end of two periods and that is the way it stayed until Vernon Fiddler scored into an empty net with 1:11 remaining.

Pekka Rinne made 28 saves to get the victory, his fourth in five starts.

Both Anaheim goals came from Corey Perry and Jean-Sebastien Giguere allowed three goals on 34 shots. The Ducks have lost two straight.
