PITTSBURGH, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Evgeni Malkin scored with just 16 seconds left in overtime Wednesday to hand the Pittsburgh Penguins a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Malkin's second goal in the contest, and 24th this season, capped a Pittsburgh comeback from a 3-0 deficit through two periods.

He scored also scored in Pittsburgh's three-goal third, with his 23rd starting the rally at the 2:25 mark.

Mark Eaton and Petr Sykora scored the other third period goals.

Sykora's 20th (power play at 16:31), after Malkin's assist, created a 3-3 tie.

Netminder Marc-Andre Fleury yielded three goals on 24 shots, but none after the second period, for the Penguins, who stopped their three-game losing streak.

Tampa Bay built its 3-0 lead on goals by Ryan Malone in the first, and both Martin St. Louis and Vincent Lecavalier in the second.

Goaltender Mike McKenna surrendered the four goals on 35 shots in the Lightning's fourth loss in a row.
