TORONTO, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Bryan McCabe scored with 1:30 remaining in overtime Tuesday to give the Florida Panthers a 4-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The long-time Maple Leafs defenseman, who was traded to the Panthers in the off-season, skated down the left wing and fired a shot from the circle that got through Vesa Toskala and over the goal line for the win.

Stephen Weiss had a goal and two assists for the Panthers, who rallied from a two-goal deficit to record their third win in four games. Gregory Campbell and Cory Stillman also scored and Craig Anderson made 31 saves for Florida.

Niklas Hagman, Alexei Ponikarovsky and Nik Antropov scored, and Toskala blocked 27 shots for the Maple Leafs.
