ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Anthony Johnson hit 6-of-8 three-point attempts Wednesday and produced a season-best 25 points, leading Orlando past the Los Angeles Clippers 125-96.
The Clippers lost their 11th straight road contest and failed to challenge Orlando despite the Magic playing without point guard Jameer Nelson.
Nelson, who had been named to his first All-Star team, suffered a shoulder injury Monday that could end his season.
Johnson started in place of Nelson and missed just twice in his 11 shots from the field. He missed equaling a career high by two points.
Courtney Lee also had the largest point total of his career with 21 to help the Magic win for the 11th time in 14 games. Orlando shot 56 percent from the field and made 16-of-26 from three-point range.
Los Angeles, which has lost 21 out of 23 games, was led by 27 points from Al Thornton.
Orlando scored the game's first seven points and rolled to a 24-point advantage at halftime.
