NHL: Chicago 4, San Jose 2

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Jonathan Toews scored twice Saturday, sending the Chicago Blackhawks past the San Jose Sharks 4-2.

He scored in the first and second periods, giving him 16 goals this season.


Dave Bolland and Duncan Keith (power play) also scored, and goalie Nikolai Khabibulin made 32 saves on 34 shots for the Blackhawks, who have won two of their last three contests on their season-high eight-game road trip.

San Jose got one goal apiece from Christian Ehrhoff (power play) and Milan Michalek. Joe Pavelski assisted on both goals.

Goalie Evgeni Nabokov was beaten four times on 29 shots for the Sharks, whose four-game winning streak ended.

On the power play, Chicago went 2-for-3 compared to San Jose's 1-for-4.
