TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Santonio Holmes' late 6-yard touchdown catch Sunday night helped Pittsburgh beat Arizona 27-23 in Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa.

His tip-toe catch came just before defensive back Aaron Francisco could make a play and gave the Steelers an NFL-record sixth Super Bowl title, one more than both Dallas and San Francisco.

The former Ohio State star also caught a 40-yard pass, which went to the Arizona 6-yard line and set up his incredible game-winning score.

In all, he caught nine passes for 131 yards, and was the game's MVP.

Roethlisberger won a Super Bowl a second time after passing for 256 yards and the one touchdown, while linebacker James Harrison scored on a 100-yard interception return on the final play in the first half, the longest play in Super Bowl history.

The victory made Pittsburgh's Mike Tomlin, 37, the youngest coach ever to win a title in the NFL's annual title game.

Arizona had gone up 23-20 when Larry Fitzgerald scored on a 64-yard pass from Kurt Warner, who went 31-of-43 for 377 yards with three touchdowns for the Cardinals, who made their first Super Bowl appearance.
