HOUSTON, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Ron Artest scored 27 points with seven assists and seven rebounds Saturday, fueling Houston's 110-93 win over the Golden State Warriors.
A dominant 29-18 fourth period helped Houston sprint away from what had been a tight contest. The Rockets' lead was just 81-75 when the fourth period began following a 53-51 halftime advantage.
Yao Ming scored 25 with 11 rebounds.
Rookie Aaron Brooks scored a career-high 22 points with nine assists, while Carl Landry added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Rockets, who had dropped two in a row and three of previous four outings.
Corey Maggette's 17 points led Golden State.
Stephen Jackson scored 16 with five assists.
Jamal Crawford had 14 points and three rebounds, while Monta Ellis added 10 with six rebounds for the Warriors, who have split their last four games.
