AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Denis Clemente scored 44 points Saturday, powering Kansas State's 85-81 overtime upset of the 12th-ranked Texas Longhorns.

Clemente was 6-of-6 from three-point range and 12-of-12 from the foul line. Fred Brown had 13 points for Kansas State (14-7, 3-4 Big 12), which has won three straight.

Ron Anderson had nine rebounds and seven points for the Wildcats.

Damion James had 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead Texas (15-5, 4-2), which had a three-game winning streak end. Gary Johnson had 16 points and A.J. Abrams had 15 before fouling out.
