Steelers ready for Super Bowl XLIII

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh Coach Mike Tomlin reiterated Friday that his team is prepared for Super Bowl XLIII against Arizona after a 1 hour, 50 minute practice.

The NFL's pool report said all 53 Steelers players, including wide receiver Hines Ward (right knee strain), practiced without restriction in unseasonably chilly conditions.

"I feel great about our preparation," Tomlin said. "Of course, you evaluate your preparation by your performance in the game, but I think the guys understand everything they have to do entering the game. We didn't have the sense of urgency we might normally have in a practice week, but that's because the guys have seen it all once."

The AFC champions, who will try to claim a sixth Super Bowl title, remain seven-point favorites to beat the NFC champion-Cardinals Sunday night at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium.
