VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- J.P. Dumont scored the tie-breaking goal 2:01 into the third period Wednesday, highlighting a rally that gave Nashville a 5-3 victory over Vancouver.

The Canucks lost their seventh straight game, having not won since defeating Edmonton Jan. 7.

Vancouver looked ready to end the skid when the Canucks took a 3-1 lead late into the second period. The Predators then scored three consecutive power-play goals to stop their own losing streak at three.

Martin Erat began the comeback with 3:59 to play in the second and Jason Arnott tied the game with 21 seconds to go in the period.

Dumont scored midway through Mattias Ohlund's two-minute slashing penalty and David Legwand tallied into an empty net with 55 seconds left in the game.

Pekka Rinne got the win by making 27 saves. Roberto Luongo allowed four goals on 37 shots.
