NBA: Philadelphia 95, Houston 93

HOUSTON, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Andre Iguodala put Philadelphia ahead by four points with 41 seconds remaining Wednesday and the 76ers held on to nip Houston 95-93.

Philadelphia faced a nine-point deficit early in the fourth quarter, but rallied to take the lead for good on Andre Miller's two free throws with 3:29 to play.

After Iguodala gave the 76ers a 95-91 lead with his jumper, Houston's Yao Ming was good on a hook shot for the final points of the game.

Yao was fouled on the shot, but missed the free throw. Iguodala missed a jump shot that would have clinched the game with 9 seconds left, giving the Rockets a final chance. Tracy McGrady, however, had his three-point attempt blocked by Samuel Dalembert just before the buzzer.

Iguodala led the 76ers with 20 points and Lou Williams had 17. Philadelphia won both its meetings with Houston this season.

McGrady scored 24 points in what was Houston's third loss in four games.
