INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- T.J. Ford produced a season high with 34 points Wednesday in pacing Indiana's 107-99 decision over Milwaukee.
The Pacers rushed to a 16-point lead after one period and then spent the rest of the game fighting off the Bucks, who are expected to struggle for the rest of the season without leading scorer Michael Redd.
This was Milwaukee's second game without Redd, who suffered a major injury to his left knee last Saturday and who will have surgery in February.
Ford made 14-of-21 shots from the field and all seven of his free throws. His previous high this season, 27 points, also came against Milwaukee on Dec. 13.
Mike Dunleavy, Jarrett Jack and Rasho Nesterovic all scored 14 points for Indiana.
Charlie Villanueva led Milwaukee with 28 points and eight rebounds.
The win was only the second for Indiana this season against a fellow member of the Central Division.
