LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Travis Outlaw had 20 points Monday night -- 16 in the fourth quarter -- to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 113-88 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Brandon Roy hit 11-of-15 shots from the field and finished with 33 points, and Greg Oden had 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting for Portland, which has won two straight games.
The Blazers shot 58 percent while the Clippers went cold after the third period, managing just 15 points in the fourth.
Al Thornton led the Clippers with 23 points. Steve Novak scored 21 and Fred Jones had 19 points and seven assists for LA, which has lost 16 of its last 18 games.
The Blazers led 77-73 going into the fourth quarter and then opened the period with a 9-0 run. The Clippers never threatened the rest of the way.
