NBA: Denver 100, Memphis 85

MEMPHIS, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Chauncey Billups scored 29 points Tuesday, sparking the Denver Nuggets to a 100-85 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Lionel Hollins, who left his assistant coaching position in Milwaukee to become the Grizzlies' head coach when Memphis fired Marc Lavaroni last week, made his debut Tuesday in what turned out to be the Grizzlies' 10th straight loss.

J.R. Smith added 20 points and Linas Kleiza 16 in the Nuggets' third straight win. Kenyon Martin had 12 points, 10 rebounds, five steals, four assists and three blocked shots for Denver.

O.J. Mayo scored 19 points and Rudy Gay, Kyle Lowry and Darius Miles 13 each for Memphis.
