VIRGINIA WATER, England, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- A weekend win in Qatar catapulted Alvaro Quiros 46 places to No. 28 Monday in the Official World Golf Rankings.

That's high enough to likely mean he will receive invitations to the World Golf Championships and the Masters. Quiros won the Qatar Masters Sunday.

Pat Perez's first PGA Tour win at the 50th Bob Hope Classic rocketed him up 31 places to 59th.

The top five remained the same with sidelined Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia, Padraig Harrington, Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh.

Mercedes-Benz champion Geoff Ogilvy is sixth, followed by Henrik Stenson, who climbed four spots to seventh after finishing with a share of second place at the Bob Hope. Robert Karlsson, Anthony Kim and Camilo Villegas all dropped a place.

Lee Westwood fell out of the top-10 to 11th. Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, Adam Scott and Kenny Perry took the next five places for the second week in a row.

Steve Stricker, Stewart Cink, K.J. Choi and Martin Kaymer maintained their holds on the 16-19 places. Mike Weir, who shared third place at the Bob Hope, moved up five to No. 20.

Justin Rose fell out of the top-20 this week and is 22nd.
