Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant had 18 points Monday to help the Oklahoma City Thunder hold off a late New Jersey rally in a 94-85 win over the Nets.
Jeff Green and Russell Westbrook each scored 13 points and Nick Collison had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Thunder.
Brook Lopez had 18 points and seven rebounds for the Nets, who have lost six of their last seven games. Josh Boone added 11 points and Devin Harris 10.
The Thunder held a 51-40 halftime lead and opened the third period with a 14-2 run that gave them a 23-point, 65-42, lead.
Oklahoma City was ahead 82-54 going into the final quarter. But the Nets, down by 30 points early in the fourth period, went on a 24-1 run to get back in the game.
