OAKLAND, Calif., Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Corey Maggette had 20 points and six rebounds Sunday night to lead the Golden State Warriors past the Los Angeles Clippers 107-92.
Kelenna Azubuike finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists, while Anthony Morrow had 17 points and Andris Biedrins scored 12 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for the Warriors, who won for the third time in their last five games.
Eric Gordon led the Clippers with 21 points. Al Thornton scored 17 points and Ricky Davis had 15 points and seven assists for LA, which has lost 15 of its last 17 games.
The Clippers jumped out to a 15-3 first-quarter lead but the Warriors answered with a 23-5 run and took a 55-44 lead at the intermission. Golden State used a 9-0 run early in the third period to tighten its grip on the Clippers and went up 84-64 heading into the fourth period, when the lead never fell back under 20 points.
