NEW YORK, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Cleveland's LeBron James and the LA Lakers' Andrew Bynum were named NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week.

James led the Cavaliers to a 3-1 record during a weeklong West Coast swing. He averaged 30.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 2.3 steals in the four games. He posted his twelfth double-double of the season with a 33-point, 14-rebound effort Jan. 24 in a win against Utah.

Bynum averaged 23.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.25 blocks per game while leading the Lakers to a 4-0 record during the week. The fourth-year pro had a career-high 42 points and 15 rebounds in a Jan. 21 win over the LA Clippers.

Bynum had point-rebound double-doubles in three of the Lakers' last four games.
