Report: Radomski on drugs in baseball

NEW YORK, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Kirk Radomski says he supplied performance-enhancing drugs to nearly 300 players in baseball's steroids era, ESPN reported Sunday.

In an explosive interview on the "Outside the Lines" program, the former New York Mets ball boy claimed his past clients included some of the game's most visible players, including Roger Clemens, Miguel Tejada and David Justice.

Radomski also claimed he twice took urine tests for former Mets pitching star Dwight Gooden.

"You know, (Gooden) came in one day and he came up to me and said the 'pee guy' was there," Radomski said. "He says, 'Could you pee for me?' I said, 'Doc, what am I going to do? How are we going to do this?'"

Radomski was the major source for the Mitchell Report on drug use by baseball players compiled in 2007 by former U.S. Senator George Mitchell.

The cable sports network said Gooden did not respond to numerous requests for comment, but his reaction in a text message was "LOL" (laugh out loud).
