NEWARK, N.J., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Jeremy Hazell scored 23 points Sunday, keying Seton Hall's 65-60 upset of 14th-ranked Georgetown, its first Big East victory this season.

Hazell sank just 5-of-21 field goal attempts, but atoned by adding 13-of-17 free throws, seven rebounds and three steals.

He scored six straight points in a 50-second span midway through the second half, and also sank two clinching foul shots with 8 seconds left.

Robert Mitchell, the only other SHU player in double figures, scored 20 with seven rebounds and three assists for the Pirates (10-9, 1-6), who won despite going 0-for-13 on three-pointers.

Greg Monroe led Georgetown with 17 points and seven rebounds.

DaJuan Summers scored 12 with six rebounds, while Chris Wright added 11 points and three assists for the Hoyas (12-6, 3-4), who have lost three in a row.

Georgetown shot just 32.7 percent from the floor, including a dismal 13.6 percent on three-pointers, and committed 16 turnovers.
