SOUTH BEND, Ind., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Jerome Dyson had 15 points Saturday and No. 3 Connecticut held No. 19 Notre Dame to its lowest score this season in a 69-61 win.

Dyson also had nine rebounds as the Huskies ended the nation's longest home-winning streak at 45 games. The loss was the first at home for the Fighting Irish since an 80-72 loss to Marquette Feb. 25, 2006.

The Huskies (18-1, 7-1 Big East) have won seven straight since losing their Big East opener to Georgetown.

Jeff Adrien had 19 rebounds and 12 points and Hasheem Thabeet had 11 rebounds, nine points and five blocked shots for Connecticut.

Luke Harangody led the Irish (12-6, 3-4) with 24 points and 15 rebounds but his teammates hit only 15-of-53 (28.3 percent) from the floor.
